It’s still early in the 34 game season, but Ricoh Manresa, a 2nd division team last season, and C.B. Granada, who just got back their best player Curtis Borchardt from injury, are both early season suprises tied for the league lead at 4-1. Granada has benefitted from an easy schedule, but with Borchardt’s return and a convincing win against Euroleague power Unicaja they’re a team to watch. With a trip to Madrid to play Real coming up we’ll get a chance to see with they’re for real. Manresa has also beaten a Euroleague power, TAU Cerámica in the 4th game, and will really be tested in the 7th game against DKV.
